The Speedrooter has a reputation for being a machine that really can take a beating. Its frame is braced at key stress points, the drum is supported front and back for longer bearing wear, and General’s unique Flexicore® wire rope center cables are so tough they carry a one year limited warranty.

To make the new Speedrooter 91 even more user friendly, we’ve redesigned the frame to make it easier for you to load onto a truck. As it’s being loaded, the machine slides smoothly from the loading wheel to the handle to the stair climbers and finally to the wheels

We’ve also given the Speedrooter 91 an adjustable height handle. It can be three inches longer or more compact, depending upon your preference. And the machine has a swivel motor mount that swings to the side for more clearance when switching drums.

For those smaller lines, you can switch to a small drum that holds 100 feet of 1/2" cable, a job that takes less than a minute. Just loosen three knobs, swing the motor out of the way, and lift off the drum.

The power cable feed drives 3/4", 5/8", and 1/2" cables and has the pulling power to get your cables out of the line, even on long, tough jobs. To adjust 3/4" or 5/8" cables, you simply turn the knob on top of the feed. The screwdriver stays in the tool box.

The large drum has a see-through inner cage, so you can quickly tell how much cable is left in the drum.

Heavy-gauge wire coiled tightly around 49-strand aircraft-type wire rope and heat treated. Has unequalled strength and the right amount of flexibility. So tough it carries a one-year warranty against defect or breakage.
